Job Contracting and Labor-only Contracting
According to the Labor Code, contractor or subcontractor is when an employer enters into a contract with another person for the performance of the former’s work. While this arrangement is allowed by the law, did you know that there’s is also an existing contractor prohibited by the law? This is called the labor-only contractor.
