ATTY. KATE DEMI MICHELLE O. CALANSINGIN

Atty. Calansingin received a full scholarship to the University of Makati School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor Degree in 2023. She passed the Philippine Bar Examinations and was admitted to the practice of law in the same year.

She obtained her Bachelor in Broadcast Communication Degree from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines and received a recognition as the 4th Placer, Most Outstanding Scholar of the Year. She worked as a Communications officer for multinational corporations for more than five years, giving her extensive experience in corporate communications, marketing and management before entering law school.

While in the UMak School of Law, she was elected to serve as the Chair of the Center for Clinical Legal Education and Legal Aid Services (CCLELAS), Secretary of Anima Legis (AL) and Editor-in-Chief of the Justitia Law Journal (JLJ). At the same time, she worked as a Legal Editor for a legal firm based in Pasadena, California, which trained her to handle foreign clients and jurisdictions.

Before working as a full-fledged attorney at the CCPC Law Offices, she served as a Senior Legal Assistant at the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Legal Affairs, DepEd. Through this, she was able to get training in planning, policymaking, case handling, and other pertinent administrative rules and procedures.
